1. Cook the Pasta: Begin by boiling salted water in a large pot. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.

2. Prepare the Butternut Squash: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced butternut squash and sauté for about 10-12 minutes until softened.
