Instructions
Creating your own Dubai Chocolate Easter Eggs can be straightforward if you follow these simple steps:
1. Melt the Chocolate: Chop the dark chocolate into small pieces and melt it in a double boiler or microwave. Stir until smooth.
2. Prepare the Molds: Lightly grease the silicone egg molds with a little melted chocolate to ensure easy removal.
3. Coat the Molds: Using a brush or spoon, coat the inside of the molds with a layer of melted dark chocolate. Ensure it’s even and covers all sides.
4. Chill: Place the coated molds in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes to harden.
5. Add Filling: Remove the molds from the fridge. Fill them with your choice of fillings, leaving some space at the top for additional chocolate.
6. Seal the Eggs: Pour more melted chocolate over the fillings to cover them completely. Smooth the surface with a spatula.
7. Chill Again: Return the molds to the fridge for another 30-45 minutes until completely set.
8. Remove from Molds: Gently peel the silicone molds away to reveal your chocolate eggs.
9. Decorate: Use melted milk chocolate and piping bags to create decorative designs on the eggs. Add edible gold leaf and colored sprinkles for an extravagant look.
10. Store: Place the finished chocolate eggs in a cool, dry place, or refrigerate until ready to serve.
