- Assorted sprinkles
- Edible glitter or sugar pearls
- Colored icing for designs
Instructions
1. Melt the marshmallows and butter
-
In a large pot over low heat, melt the butter, stirring occasionally.

Add the mini marshmallows and continue stirring until completely melted and smooth.
-
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract for extra flavor.
2. Mix in the Rice Krispies cereal
-
Immediately add the Rice Krispies cereal to the melted marshmallow mixture.
-
Use a spatula or wooden spoon to gently fold the cereal into the mixture until fully coated.
3. Shape into Easter eggs
-
Lightly grease your hands with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
-
Scoop about ¼ cup of the mixture and shape it into an egg form by rolling it between your hands.
-
Place the shaped eggs onto a parchment-lined tray and allow them to set for 10-15 minutes.
4. Decorate the Easter eggs
-
Once the Rice Krispies eggs are set, dip them in melted chocolate or colored candy melts.
-
Add sprinkles, sugar pearls, or drizzle with icing for a decorative touch.
-
Use piping bags or edible markers to draw Easter-themed designs like zigzags, polka dots, or stripes.
5. Let them set and serve
-
Allow the decorated eggs to fully dry and set at room temperature for 10 minutes.
-
Once set, arrange them on a festive platter and enjoy!
