  • Kiwi, peeled and sliced into rounds
  • Pineapple, cut into spears or Easter shapes (bunny, flower)
  • Watermelon, cut into shapes (eggs, flowers, butterflies)
  • Cantaloupe, balled or shaped
  • Honeydew melon, balled or sliced
  • Mango slices or cubes
  • Mandarin orange segments
  • Raspberries or blackberries (optional)
  • Pomegranate seeds (for color contrast and garnish)
  • Apple slices, brushed with lemon juice to prevent browning
  • Banana slices (optional—serve last-minute to avoid discoloration)

Optional Dips:

  • Honey Yogurt Dip: 1 cup plain yogurt + 2 tablespoons honey + ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • Coconut Cream Dip: Whipped coconut cream with a splash of vanilla and maple syrup
  • Chocolate Fruit Dip: Melted chocolate or dairy-free chocolate ganache
  • Nut Butter Dip: Smooth almond or cashew butter with a touch of cinnamon and maple syrup

Optional Garnishes:

  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Edible flowers (pansies, violas, marigolds)
  • Mini chocolate eggs or pastel-colored candies (for decoration only)
  • Easter-themed toothpicks or skewers
  • Lemon or orange zest curls

Instructions

1. Wash and Dry All Fruit

  • Gently wash each fruit under cold water.
  • Dry thoroughly to avoid excess moisture on the tray which can make fruits soggy.

2. Cut and Shape the Fruit

  • Use cookie cutters to cut pineapple, watermelon, cantaloupe, or honeydew into Easter-themed shapes:
    • Bunnies
    • Flowers
    • Eggs
    • Butterflies
  • Slice larger fruits like mango, kiwi, and apples into thin, attractive shapes.
  • Use a melon baller for cantaloupe and honeydew for a playful variety in shape and texture.

3. Arrange the Fruit

  • Use a large serving platter, wooden board, tiered stand, or tray.
  • Begin by placing larger fruits and shaped pieces as focal points.
  • Fill in the gaps with berries, grapes, and smaller items.
  • Alternate colors to create contrast and visual appeal.
  • Group similar fruits together or arrange in a rainbow pattern or circular wreath.

4. Add Dip Bowls

  • Place small bowls of dip in corners or the center of the tray for easy access.
  • Garnish dips with fruit slices, cinnamon, or mint for a decorative touch.

5. Decorate with Garnishes

  • Tuck fresh mint leaves or edible flowers around the tray for a springtime look.
  • Add a few chocolate eggs, Easter picks, or zest curls for a festive flourish (optional).

6. Serve Immediately or Chill

  • Serve the tray right away, or cover loosely and chill for up to 2 hours before serving.
  • Prep Time: 25–30 minutes
