  • Author: Olivia
  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 20 pieces (varies by size) 1x

Ingredients

Scale

For the Bark

  • 12 ounces white chocolate or white chocolate chips
  • 6 ounces milk or dark chocolate (optional for layering or drizzling)
  • 1 cup jelly beans, assorted colors and flavors
  • 1 teaspoon neutral oil (such as coconut or vegetable oil, optional for smoother melting)

Optional Toppings

  • Sprinkles or edible glitter
  • Colored sugar
  • Crushed candy
  • Shredded coconut

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare your pan

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat

  • Set aside for assembly after melting the chocolate

Step 2: Melt the chocolate

  • Place white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl

  • Microwave in 20–30 second intervals, stirring between each until smooth and fully melted

  • If using, melt milk or dark chocolate separately using the same method

  • Stir in a teaspoon of oil if needed for smoother texture

Step 3: Spread the chocolate

  • Pour the melted white chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet

  • Use a spatula to spread it into an even layer, about ¼-inch thick

  • If using a second chocolate, drizzle or swirl it into the base for a marbled effect

Step 4: Add the jelly beans

  • While the chocolate is still warm, sprinkle jelly beans evenly over the surface

  • Press them gently into the chocolate so they adhere as it sets

Step 5: Add extra toppings (optional)

  • Sprinkle any additional decorations like sprinkles, coconut, or edible glitter over the top

  • Customize the design based on your event or color theme

Step 6: Chill and set

  • Transfer the pan to the refrigerator for 30 minutes or until chocolate is firm

  • Ensure the bark is fully set before breaking it into pieces

Step 7: Break and serve

  • Once firm, remove from the pan and peel off the parchment

  • Break into pieces by hand or use a sharp knife for clean cuts

  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature or refrigerate if needed

  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
